I was curious to see where the [Waterstreet] school was located in relation to what is now called the Marietta South Parkway Loop, and recalled seeing a series of Insurance Map images of maps produced in April 1911 by the Sanborn Map Company. To make a long story short, I used the overview map from the April 1911 Sanborn Map Company’s Marietta Georgia Collection to create an overlay on a current satellite-based map of Marietta hosted by Google Maps (below) and it created as many questions as it answered for me.
